Industrial stairs – this term mostly conceals lightweight steel stair structures and even integrated staircases of various design and construction. They are usually individually designed and then used in production, storage or logistic halls, both inside and outside of buildings and industrial halls.
The main task of industrial stairs is to provide safe and convenient access to upper stories or platforms, as well as landings surrounding various types of machines or devices located in the production hall.
DANE TECHNICZNE SCHODÓW MODUŁOWYCH
Construction of industrial stairs is mostly made of S235/S355 steel protected against corrosion by hot dip galvanizing. Industrial stair components (handrails, balustrades, supporting frame elements) can be coated using the following techniques:
- sprayed with wet paints
- dry painted with powder paints
- protected using Duplex method
- in case of fire protection requirements, protected with fireproof paints providing a longer fire resistance of a structure.
Industrial stairs can also be made of stainless steel (e.g. for use in the food industry) or aluminum (they have a much lighter construction). Depending on the application and requirements of customers or investors, they can be designed and fabricated of standard catalog elements (supporting frame, steps, railings) or individually designed, manufactured and then assembled at a target site.
We have many capabilities and many years of experience in design and construction of even complicated industrial stairs. We have made many spectacular implementations throughout Poland and Europe.
Detailed information on different types of industrial stairs and available technological solutions is listed below.
Technical stairs are used in factories, production halls and warehouses. High quality materials and individually prepared design ensure that the steel stairs meet the applicable safety criteria.
Emergency stairs are used as an escape route in case of an emergency, both in multi-family housing and public utility buildings. Characteristics of emergency stairs are: low weight, small assembly area, high resistance to loads and pressure of the crowd.
Spiral (helical) stairs is a recommendation not only for public utility, industrial and multi-family buildings, but also for other objects using original architectural and design solutions.
Steel platforms, also referred to a landing, is an element of steel stairs. This is mostly a plate that constitutes a beginning or an end of a flight of stairs in one-storey buildings, or an element connecting two points
